Collection contains letters from Robertson to Andrew Strahan, publisher, about Robertson's History of the Reign of the Emperor Charles V, and his Historical Disquisition Concerning the Knowledge Which the Ancients Had of India. The letters comment on the problems of publication and printing in the 18th century. There are also three engravings from a portrait of Robertson by Sir Joshua Reynolds.
